Disney Springs Restaurants

The reimagining of Downtown Disney to Disney Springs has made it a vibrant and exciting place. There seems to be a new restaurant opened every time you turn around. Here are my thoughts on the Disney Springs restaurants as of August 2017.

Rainforest Cafe
Gather your party of explorers on a trek into the Amazon, where you’ll dine in the company of animated animals to the sounds of thunder claps and sudden rainstorms. Singing birds, trumpeting elephants, chest-pounding gorillas and schools of brightly colored fish welcome you to a lushly landscaped jungle of tropical vegetation, banyan trees, waterfalls and a starry nighttime sky.

T-Rex
Surround yourself with the sights and sounds of a prehistoric world when you explore this dinosaur-themed café teeming with hands-on discovery zones and creative cuisine. Very similar to the Rainforest Cafe.

Paradiso 37, Taste of the Americas

Frontera Cocina

Frontera Cocina is a dining venture headed by celebrity Chef Rick Bayless — host of National Public Television’s “Mexico-One Plate at a Time,” winner of “Top Chef Masters,” and recipient of the Julia Child award — in Disney Springs. The menu features authentic Mexican cuisine through dishes such as tacos and hand-crafted tortas, fresh guacamole, and Carnitas. While the main restaurant is a sit-down Table Service location, there is also a walk-up window to grab some tacos or margaritas to enjoy during your stroll around Disney Springs.

Morimoto Asia

Feast your eyes and senses on the newest flagship restaurant at Disney Springs—Morimoto Asia.
Japanese master chef Masaharu Morimoto is acknowledged as one of the most inventive forces in Asian cuisine, and he has chosen The Landing at Disney Springs as the venue for his very first “Pan-Asian” restaurant.
Morimoto Asia offers an entirely new dining experience for Guests, including unique exhibition kitchens that provide behind-the-scenes views into traditions like Peking duck carving and dim sum. The restaurant’s massive, 2-story interior includes glittering 20-foot-long chandeliers, Shanghai-influenced lounges, private dining spaces and a second-level sushi bar and lounge with a separate entrance.
